NFL Scores: Patriots Rally From 13-3 Down to Beat the Dolphins 24-19, Completing Florida's NFL Sunday
Miami led by 10 at halftime in the rain at Hard Rock Stadium. Drake Maye then threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third as New England scored 21 unanswered points — and Florida's three home teams finished the day 2-1.

Miami Gardens — For 30 minutes on a rain-soaked Sunday, the Miami Dolphins were authoring the upset. Then Drake Maye took the game over. The New England Patriots rallied from a 13-3 halftime deficit to beat Miami 24-19 at Hard Rock Stadium, scoring 21 unanswered points in the second half to close out Florida's NFL Sunday, Reuters reported.
Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score — his fifth straight game with at least three total touchdowns. He found Kyle Williams for a 43-yard touchdown to cut the lead to 13-10 in the third quarter, ran in the go-ahead 2-yard score with 59 seconds left in the third, and hit DeMario Douglas on a 48-yard catch-and-run with 12:39 to play that stretched the lead to 24-13. Douglas finished with three catches for 76 yards.
Miami made it a game at the end. Malik Willis, who completed 21 of 32 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns, hit rookie Kevin Coleman Jr. for a 35-yard touchdown with 2:04 left to pull the Dolphins within 24-19, but the two-point try failed and New England recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock. Miami fell to 1-6; the Patriots improved to 5-3. With Tampa Bay's 16-0 win over Atlanta and Jacksonville's 42-7 rout of Indianapolis earlier in the day, Florida's three home teams finished Sunday 2-1 — and Miami, which hosts Detroit next Sunday, was the one that let a double-digit lead get away.
