Fort Myers Weather: Rain Eases Sunday Evening at 70, a Showery Monday, Then Election Day Thunderstorms
The station's live feed has the rain winding down Sunday night, one more unsettled day Monday near 77, thunderstorms parked on Election Day — and a clear, much cooler Saturday morning waiting at the end of the week.

Fort Myers is drying out, slowly. The station's live feed on Sunday evening showed 70 degrees, feeling like 72.5 under overcast skies, at the end of a rainy first day of standard time: Sunday's high held to 77.7 with a 79 percent precipitation mark, the coolest, greyest day Southwest Florida has put together in this stretch.
Monday stays unsettled without turning stormy: the feed carries a high of 76.9, a low of 70.3 and a 48 percent rain chance. Then the pattern warms and sharpens for the middle of the week. Election Day, Tuesday, still carries the thunderstorm signal (weather code 95) with a high of 84.3 and a 56 percent precipitation chance, and Wednesday follows with a 45 percent chance at 85.4 — anyone with a Tuesday trip to the polls in Lee or Collier County should keep the umbrella in the plan.
The payoff is the back half of the week. Thursday's rain chance falls to 8 percent at 85.3, Friday is nearly dry at 83.5, and Saturday turns clear with a high of only 78.8 and a low of 61.5 — the coolest morning on the week's feed, and a genuine taste of November after a wet start to it.
