NBA Scores Monday Night: Pelicans Edge Grizzlies 135-134 in Overtime, Kings Get Their First Win, Timberwolves Top Bucks 112-100 (Fort Myers Watch News)

Monday night's NBA slate was built for the search bar. In Memphis, the New Orleans Pelicans outlasted the Grizzlies 135-134 in overtime at FedExForum, surviving a game-high 40 points from Memphis's Ty Jerome. Zion Williamson posted a double-double for New Orleans — 25 points and 11 rebounds on the Sports Illustrated leaders line — and Karlo Matkovic and Derik Queen added 25 points each as the Pelicans took the night's wildest game by a single point in the extra period.

In Dallas, the Sacramento Kings are winless no more. Darius Acuff Jr. scored a game-high 25 points, Malik Monk added 24 off the bench and Zach LaVine finished with 23 as Sacramento beat the Mavericks 115-100 — the Kings (1-6) becoming the last team in the league to crack the win column this season, Reuters reported. Daniel Gafford and Walter Clayton Jr. scored 20 apiece for Dallas (4-3), which played without Kyrie Irving (left knee injury management) and shot just 7-of-33 from three-point range against Sacramento's 19-of-43.

In Minneapolis, LaMelo Ball scored 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting with six 3-pointers as the Timberwolves beat the Milwaukee Bucks 112-100. Ayo Dosunmu added 19 points and 12 rebounds and Rudy Gobert 10 points and 10 boards for Minnesota (5-3); Tyler Herro's 21 led Milwaukee, which fell to 1-6. And in Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 43 points as the Thunder beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 117-112. Florida's Monday finals ran earlier in this station's file: the Magic's nine-point third quarter in a 103-94 loss to Washington (SQ-20261102-063) and the Heat's 138-117 loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles (SQ-20261102-070).
