FGCU Women's Soccer Beats Stetson 2-0 to Win Its 13th ASUN Regular-Season Title
Florida Gulf Coast scored twice in the first 32 minutes at Stetson on Saturday and kept a clean sheet to lock up the ASUN regular-season championship — and home field for the conference tournament in Fort Myers.

Florida Gulf Coast is the ASUN regular-season champion again. The Eagles beat Stetson 2-0 on the road in DeLand on Saturday to secure the program's 13th ASUN regular-season title, according to FGCU Athletics, and the 15th time in 17 seasons the program has won either the regular-season or tournament crown.
Needing a win to take the title, FGCU broke through in the 20th minute when Keira Morgan collected a failed clearance and curled a right-footed shot into the upper corner for her fourth goal of the season. Tessa Brooks doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, finishing at the left post for her second goal of the campaign, and the Eagles carried the 2-0 margin into halftime.
Goalkeeper Madara Bome stopped the only shot on goal she faced, in the 80th minute, for her sixth shutout of the season and her third in the Eagles' last four games. FGCU closes the regular season 10-2-5 overall and 7-1-2 in ASUN play, four points clear of the field. The postseason now runs through Pickering Field in Fort Myers: FGCU will play the winner of Thursday's Jacksonville–West Florida first-round match on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m., and would host the ASUN Championship on Friday, Nov. 13.
