Florida Everblades Blank Greenville 2-0 as Cam Johnson Records His 22nd Career ECHL Shutout
Isaac Nurse's first-period goal was all the offense Florida needed Saturday afternoon in Greenville, where Cam Johnson stopped all 21 shots in a 2-0 Everblades win that split the two-game series.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — One goal was enough. Isaac Nurse scored late in the first period and Cam Johnson turned aside all 21 shots he faced for his 22nd career ECHL shutout, as the Florida Everblades beat the Greenville Swamp Rabbits 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Nurse's goal — his second in as many nights — came from the low slot off a feed from Mark Senden at 18:42 of the first period, with Jordan Sambrook also assisting. The 1-0 lead held deep into the third, and continued Florida pressure kept Greenville from pulling goaltender Owen Flores for an extra attacker until only 30 seconds remained. Max Graham added an empty-net goal at 19:56, assisted by Cole Moberg. Florida outshot Greenville 39-21 for the game.
The win secured a split of the two-game series, one night after Greenville handed Florida its first loss of the season, 5-4. The Everblades and Swamp Rabbits do not meet again until the calendar flips to 2027, when a three-game set at Hertz Arena in Estero gets underway on January 6.
