Tonight's Roadwork: Daniels Parkway Interchange Lanes Close After 7, Edison Bridge Lanes After 9
FDOT's Lee County RoadWatch has two nighttime operations running tonight - the Daniels Parkway diverging-diamond work at I-75 and the Edison Bridge lighting project - both clear before the Tuesday morning drive.

FORT MYERS - Two of Lee County's biggest nighttime roadwork operations run again tonight, according to FDOT District 1's Lee County RoadWatch for the week of Nov. 1-7, read by this station Monday. Neither should touch the evening rush itself - both start after it - but late drivers and early risers will meet them.
At the Daniels Parkway diverging-diamond interchange at I-75, nighttime lane closures run 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on I-75 in both directions at Daniels Parkway, and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Daniels Parkway itself in both directions at the interchange. The DDI is the county's signature interchange rebuild, and its overnight pattern - lanes down after the evening peak, restored before the morning one - continues this week.
Downtown, the Edison Bridge carries nighttime lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for its lighting work, a schedule FDOT lists as continuing through winter 2026. Tuesday morning's drive should be clear of both operations by the posted end times; the Traffic Desk's AM file will flag any carryover, and the full week of RoadWatch projects ran in this station's Nov. 1 roundup.
