Everblades' Postponed Orlando Game Gets Its New Date: March 24 at the Kia Center
The Florida Everblades announced Monday that the October 28 game against the Orlando Solar Bears — postponed for unplayable ice at the Kia Center — will be played Wednesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Orlando. It is the first Everblades game rescheduled since December 2025.

The Florida Everblades have a date for the game the ice took away. The team announced Monday that its postponed game from Wednesday, October 28, against the Orlando Solar Bears has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 24, at 7 p.m. at the Kia Center in Orlando.
Last Wednesday's game never started: unplayable ice conditions at the Kia Center prevented the opening faceoff, and the matchup was called off before play began. The postponement was a rarity for Florida — the team said it is the first Everblades game to be rescheduled since December 2025.
The wait for the makeup date does not slow the current road swing. The Everblades are next in action Friday, November 6, at 7 p.m., when they face the Jacksonville Icemen at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena — the start of a three-game set in Jacksonville before Florida finally returns home to Hertz Arena.
