John Washington III Says a Corrupt System Decides Who Gets the Cameras, the Money and the Publicity
John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, argued that independent voices are pushed out by gatekeeping while their ideas are handed to chosen candidates, and called for peaceful, constitutional change.

John Washington III is calling the political system corrupt and saying it needs to be exposed. In a written statement, John Washington III asked who decides which candidates are put in front of the cameras and who receives the money, the endorsements and the publicity.
"Why do independent voices get pushed out while their ideas get stolen?" John Washington III wrote. "They won't stand behind us, but they'll hand our ideas to their chosen puppets on a string. That's not democracy, that's gatekeeping."
John Washington III called for change that is, in his words, "peaceful, constitutional change, to build a new government that actually works for the people." He cited the Declaration of Independence, writing that when a government becomes destructive of people's rights, the people can alter or abolish it, and he urged Americans to "come together and build something that serves the people, not the powerful."
