Sunday morning in Southwest Florida starts at the markets. The Sanibel Island Farmers Market runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sanibel City Hall, a Sunday market with produce, seafood, baked goods, flowers, plants and local vendors held from October through May, according to the weekend listings read by the desk. Across the causeway, the Surfside Farmers Market in Cape Coral also runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays, with produce, arts, crafts and local small businesses at the Shops at Surfside.

Sunday is also the last call for fall festival season. The Southern Fresh Farms Fall Festival in Fort Myers closes its run on Sunday after a season that began October 3, with published Sunday hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Lee County fall events guide — the farm's fall season of hayrides, a pumpkin patch and food trucks wrapping up as November begins.

The afternoon turns to the stage. Fort Myers Theatre presents 'The Addams Family' at 2 p.m. Sunday, and downtown, the finals of the sixth-annual Rock the Stage singing competition start at 3 p.m. at Bay Street Yard, the News-Press reported in its October events picks. On Fort Myers Beach, the Bayside Veterans Park Concert Series hosts Limited Edition at 4 p.m. at the corner of Old San Carlos Boulevard and First Street.
